Description
Baby Krishna was born as the eighth child of Devaki. When Krishna was born, his parents were imprisoned by his own uncle, the cruel king Kamsa- Because, it was predicted that the eighth child of Devaki would kill Kamsa. But the baby was instantly taken to Madhura, where he was brought up by a lovely woman called Yashoda.Though Devaki was Krishna's biological mother, she did not get much attention by the poets compared to Yashoda. Devaki is portrayed as the feminine power of being a mother ,with her sorrows and joys of motherhood.
A mother has been considered as a form of God in puranas. As a symbol of life, motherhood is celebrated as it represents, creation and divinity. She embodies deep love and kindness but can also use her fiercely protective nature- for grooming her offspring.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO THE MOMS OF THIS UNIVERSE!
