Description
Yesterday I saw a baby bird
Lying on my balcony floor
From it's nest in the corner ,
On an old wooden ladder,
The mother bird was staring at me
I am scared
I took the baby in my hand,
Then Mom got shocked and flew away,
Leaving all her three babies alone...
I kept the baby inside the nest
It happily went inside to see the siblings!
I desperately waited for hours, for the mom..
Finally she came at seven
When I went to my balcony
Saw her smiling at me ,
It was just like my Mom's smile! (This incident was the inspiration behind this painting)

Wonderful story and artwork, Latha! FL! I had a nest in the tree outside my door, but sadly, an owl or other predator got the mother and the eggs, which I found smashed. So sad. I'm glad your story has a happier ending!
