A Puppet made out of wood is known as "Katputli" in Rajastan,India.Colorful puppet shows are apart of village life during any social gathering or religious festivals.Bamboo reeds are used by the Puppeteer for making sounds to narrate the story from Indian epics.Art of Rajastani Puppetry originated a thousand years ago in Bhat community of Rajastan.Even though I am living far away from Rajastan, these Puppets are so close to my heart and love to paint them digitally!!
