Arangetram is a Tamil word, for the debut performance by a dance student of classical dance -in India.any Indian dance is performed first in a temple premises for the blessings of the deity.Odissi is the classical dance of Indian state of Odisha.It is a highly stylized dance based on classical natya shastra of India.Kelucharan Mohapatra was considered as the guru of Odissi dance.This dance is considered as the oldest form of dances in India.It is the perfect example of great body movements,expressions and gestures.The themes of this dance come from Vaishnavism,and associated with Hindu Gods and Goddesses like Shiva Shakti and Surya.
